By set
Walk era by era — Base, Jungle, Fossil — through every set ever printed. See your completion ring tick up as you fill the pockets. Variant scope toggles 1st Ed / Shadowless / Holo without leaving the page.

Binder Boss is the only Pokemon TCG tracker that knows the difference between 1st Edition Shadowless, Unlimited Shadow, and the regular Holo. Track 19,942 cards across 172 sets — sorted by set, by Pokemon, or by generation.

Pick a Pokemon — every printing they've ever appeared on, era-grouped from WOTC through Scarlet & Violet. Charizard alone has 187. We've already counted them for you.

Track gen by gen — including the difference between "card generation" (when a set released) and "Pokemon generation" (when a creature debuted). Both views, one toggle. No other tracker does this.

No data entry marathon. Click into any set, tap the cards you own, watch the ring fill. That's the whole loop.
We send a one-tap sign-in link. Your collection lives in the cloud the moment you click it.
Start where it feels natural. Master-set hunters usually pick a favorite set; nostalgia collectors usually pick a Pokemon.
Vintage cards show three pips — 1st Ed / Shadowless / Holo — so you can mark only the printing you actually have. Modern cards expand to Alt Art, Hyper, Gold, Special Illustration.
9-pocket pages, drag-and-drop placement, two-page spread. Set a tracker target ("Snorlax full set") and your binder shows its own ring of progress.
The wishlist tracks how long each card has been a target. Friends can see what you're hunting; you'll never lose the URL of that Skyridge Crystal you've been eyeing.
A 1999 Base Set Charizard isn't one card — it's three. Master-setters need every printing tracked separately, or the '100% complete' number lies.
Most trackers collapse Base Set Charizard to a single checkbox. We don't. Three printings means three rows, each with its own acquired-date, its own binder slot, its own grade. Sell the Unlimited, keep the Shadowless — your tracker keeps up.

Other Pokemon trackers exist. Here's where Binder Boss differs — and where it doesn't.

Compare as of May 2026. Other apps are great at their core jobs — we go deeper on variant fidelity and binder thinking.
Both are great. Manabox is the best TCG tracker for high-volume inventory and Magic players moving between games. Pokellector owns Pokemon-set-checklist browsing — it's decades old and comprehensive. Where Binder Boss differs is the variant fidelity (the Variant Index) and the binder primitive— for the master-set collector who cares that their 1999 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard is a different card from their Unlimited Shadow Charizard. If that distinction matters to you, you're probably the audience we built for.
Early-access users have been at it since 2025. A few notes from the inbox.
Other trackers wanted me to click 19,000 checkboxes. This one already knows what a Shadowless Holo is — and treats it as its own row.
The custom binder feature finally let me build a Snorlax-only binder across every set he's ever been in. The completion ring is honestly a dopamine machine.
I've been hunting the same Skyridge Crystal Charizard for 438 days. Binder Boss tells me how long I've been waiting, every time I open the app. It's healing.

One 1999 Charizard is one card. But the print runs — 1st Edition Shadowless Holo, Shadowless Holo, Unlimited Shadow Holo — are three distinct variants we track separately. Modern cards work the same way: Alt Art, Full Art, Secret Rare are all variants of the same printed card.
Pokemon TCG API (pokemontcg.io). We ingest the full catalog — 172 sets, 19,942 cards, 32,722 trackable variants — into our database so loads are near-instant.
Yes. Download our XLSX template, fill in card names and numbers (set names optional), and the import preview shows side-by-side cards when more than one match is possible. One click resolves dozens of rows.
