Dead Center Studios LLC respects the intellectual property of others and expects the people who use Binder Boss to do the same. This page explains how to report material you believe infringes your copyright, what we do when we receive a report, and how someone can dispute a removal.
What this covers
Binder Boss lets you publish a binder to a public profile page. Those pages, and anything you upload — including binder photos and the names and descriptions you write — are user-generated content. This policy applies to that content.
Pokémon card names and artwork are the property of their respective rights holders. Binder Boss is an independent, fan-made collection tracker and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company International, Nintendo, Game Freak, or Creatures Inc. See our Terms for more.
Reporting infringing material
Send a notice to hello@binderboss.io with the subject line Copyright notice. To let us act on it, please include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you want removed, with the specific URL so we can find it.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
An incomplete notice may delay our response. Please note that knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can expose you to liability for damages under applicable law.
What we do next
- We review the notice and, where it appears valid, remove or disable access to the material.
- We notify the person who published it, and pass on your notice so they can respond.
- We keep a record of notices so we can identify repeat infringers.
If your content was removed
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to hello@binderboss.io including: identification of the removed material and where it appeared; your name, address, telephone number and email; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York, United States; and your signature.
We will forward your counter-notice to the person who reported the material. We may restore the material if we do not receive notice that they have sought a court order, within the period the law allows.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.
