Plain-English version
Binder Boss is an independent, fan-made tool to track your Pokemon TCG collection. Use it as much as you like. We try to keep it working, but we provide it as-is. If something breaks, please tell us — but we're not liable for damages. Don't use it to break the law or harm others. Pokemon and TCG trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required, e.g. in the EEA) to create an account. If you're under 18, you may only use Binder Boss with a parent or guardian's consent — and subscriptions must be purchased by an adult.
Acceptable use
- Use for personal collection tracking. Commercial use OK at any tier.
- Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the catalog ingest, or otherwise stress the infrastructure beyond a single user's reasonable consumption.
- Don't use Binder Boss to facilitate fraud, harassment, or violation of law.
- Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the catalog data for commercial purposes outside the spirit of personal-use collection tracking.
Subscription terms (Pro)
- Pro is billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Cancel anytime via Stripe Customer Portal or by emailing us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Pro features activate immediately on successful payment. If payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period before features revert to Free.
- Refunds: pro-rata refunds available within 14 days of charge, email us with the reason.
- Price changes get 30 days' notice via email; existing subscribers keep their old price until renewal.
Your content & published binders
- Your collection data is yours. We claim no ownership over your binders, notes, or photos.
- If you publish a binder, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it (with your chosen username) at its public link until you unpublish. You're responsible for names/descriptions you make public.
- We may remove published content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive. Report problematic content to
abuse@binderboss.io.
Photos & AI features
- Photo identification and AI suggestions are optional and consent-gated. Photos you submit are processed by our AI providers once to identify cards, stored privately, and auto-deleted within 7 days.
- AI identification is best-effort — always review matches before adding. We're not liable for misidentified cards.
Accounts & termination
- You can stop using Binder Boss and delete your local + cloud data anytime (see the Privacy Policy for how).
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (abuse, infringement, infrastructure attacks). Where reasonable, we'll warn first and provide a data-export window.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of card data (sourced from a third-party API), or fitness for any particular purpose. Your collection is YOUR record — export regularly.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Binder Boss is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any case is capped at the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months (which, for Free users, is $0).
Trademarks
Pokemon, Pokemon TCG, Pokemon names, card images, and all related marks are property of The Pokemon Company International, Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc. Binder Boss is a fan-made tool with no official affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. Material changes get 30 days' notice via email and a banner in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is based. Disputes resolved in that jurisdiction's courts.
